1,255,191. Separating shrimps. MACHINEFABRIEK B. & S. BEDRIJVEN V. D. WOERDT N.V. 12 March, 1969 [14 March, 1968], No. 13003/69. Heading A2U. [Also in Division B8] Shrimps on a conveyor belt 1 are engaged by a V-shaped stop 6 with an outlet opening through which insufficiently curved shrimps and pieces of shrimp are allowed to pass. The remainder of the shrimps are discharged transverse of the belt by appropriate movement of the stop 6, onto a support 11. The support 11 is divided along an oblique line 12 and comprises an upstream portion 13 pivoted by a lever 14. Incorrectly aligned shrimps with their head and tails leading the body and insufficiently curved shrimps, which are positioned overhanging the line 12, will therefore fall from the support when the portion 13 is pivoted. The remainder of the shrimps are advanced by a pusher 17. |
