Method for exploiting an oil deposit based on production data and seismic data history matching

The method involves simulating production data from a reservoir model (MR), and constructing images of seismic attribute from the data and the model. Each image is transformed to a classified image. A map of local dissimilarities between the images is constructed, and values of parameters (X1) e.g. porosities, of the model are modified to minimize difference between the measured and simulated production data to minimize the dissimilarities. The model is used with the modified values to define an optimal development of underground medium and the medium is developed according to the development.
