PURPOSE: A power management method of a station in a wireless LAN(Local Area Network) system is provided to reduce the power consumption of a station by using an effective power control method. CONSTITUTION: A station transmits a PSC(Power Saving Configuration) frame to an AP(Access Point) before the station is inserted into a PS(Power Save) mode(S210). The AP transmits the PSC response frame to the station by responding to the PSC frame(S220). The station is inserted into the PS mode(S230). The PSC request frame includes a category field, an action field, and a power management field. |
