The invention relates to a portable chromatograph meant to separate in situ a liquid mixture into its components, followed by spectrophotometrically determining the nature and concentration of said components in spectrophotometric way. According to the invention, the portable chromatograph comprises a pressure syringe consisting of a pressing handle (), a rod (), a spring (), a piston (), a graduated cylinder () made of glass, a jacket () of stainless metal, a spacial nut with handle () and another special nut () for pre-establishing the maximal flow rate of the absorbed liquid, a metal body () equipped with two one-way valves () of a spring-ball type and with a closing screw () and provided with some grooves which make the connection between the syringe, a long syringe needle () and a filler-packed chromatographic column () in connection with a flow cell () provided with a photobarrier manufactured with two optical fibers () and also a luminous radiation source (), a miniature spectrometer () provided with a diode array detector, a computer () running a specific computing program for the acquisition and processing of the experimental data and a printer (). |
