<p>The invention relates to an underground installation of waste collecting containers where solid waste such as glass, metal, plastic, paper and domestic refuse are separately collected and stored for a limited period of time, after which, when the containers are full, they are discharged into the local sanitation vehicles. According to the invention, the installation comprises a concrete-lined tank (7) wherein there are placed an assembly (A) consisting of two parallel horizontal platforms (1 and 2), namely an upper platform and a lower platform, respectively, connected to each other by means of some braced metal pillars (3), so as to allow some openings (4) to be formed between the two platforms (1 and 2), said openings being intended to permit some recovering materials-collecting containers (5) provided at the bottom with transport wheels (6) to be introduced therethrough, as well as a hydraulic device (B) having the role of simultaneously lifting up the assembly of the two platforms (1 and 2) together with the full containers and then to bring down the assembly with the emptied containers, the hydraulic device (B) serving to lift and lower the assembly of two platforms (1 and 2) together with the containers, the installation including an X-shaped shear-type assembly consisting of two similar arms (9 and 10) articulated in a central connection point by means of a central shaft (11), where the manipulation of said arms with a view to moving the assembly (A) of two platforms (1 and 2) up and down is achieved by means of one/some hydraulic cylinder(s) meant to bring close and space apart the ends of the arms (9 and 10) and, after bringing down the assembly (A), the lower platform (2) is placed inside the tank, onto some resting supports (12).</p> |
