A telescope device of a steering column is provided to improve bearing force by mounting a plate bracket that is equipped between fastening blocks and a cam device, thereby increasing a frictional surface area. A telescope device of a steering column comprises a plurality of fastening blocks(250) controlling a sliding housing or releasing its control, a rotation support shaft(260) penetrated and inserted into the blocks, a cam device(270) equipped in one side of the rotation support shaft, which fastens or unfastens the blocks and a lever(240) supported to rotate for operating a telescope. The telescope device further comprises a plate bracket(230) including a sliding unit equipped between the cam device and the fastening blocks and fixing unit formed to be perpendicular to the sliding unit.
