PURPOSE: A grain puffing apparatus using a recognizable code is provided to enable users to use cooking information saved in the recognizable code for cooking various kinds of grains. CONSTITUTION: A grain puffing apparatus includes the following: a container(100) for attaching a recognizable code(101); a reading unit(201) reading the recognizable code from the container; a supplying unit(202) transferring food ingredients stored in the container to a puffing unit; the puffing unit puffing the food ingredients; a controller analyzing the recognizable code for extracting cooking information, and controlling the puffing unit using the extracted cooking information; a secondary storage unit for saving cooking information regarding identification number data; a data communication processor performing the remote data communication; and an output unit(207) printing a printed material including the cooking information.
