PURPOSE: A method and a device for generating a search keyword, and a device and a system for searching using the same are provided to perform easy, convenient and rapid search by automatically generating the search keyword from an image without inputting an additional search keyword. CONSTITUTION: A reference location obtaining unit(310) obtains a reference location based on a pointer on a screen. An image location obtainer(320) obtains an image area as much as neighboring a constant area size based on the reference location as an image. A letter string recognizing unit(330) recognizes a letter string from an image. A search keyword extractor(340) extracts a search keyword based on letter string. The reference location obtainer obtains a location of a pointer which is moved below a constant distance during constant time as a reference location by monitoring the location of the pointer.
