An aspect of the invention is a signal processing method for correlating an N-bit received signal with an N-bit code word signal, wherein the method comprises steps of preprocessing said N-bit received signal and said N-bit code word signal, performing a Fourier transform (126) for said preprocessed signals, multiplying (130) said Fourier transformed preprocessed received signal with said Fourier transformed preprocessed code word signal, and performing inverse Fourier transform (140) to a product of said multiplication.
