The invention relates to a photo-reactor meant to be used for studying photo-chemical or photo-biological reactions. According to the invention, the reactor comprises a reaction vessel (12) provided with a thermostating jacket and a detachable cone-shaped cover (9), a slide bearing (6), a shaft (5) sustaining a support (13) of a magnetic bar (15) which, by its rotation performed by means of an external magnetic field, stirs the mixture inside the cylindrical vessel (12) provided with some connections, where one such connection (21) has double thread at both ends and is perpendicular to the generatrix of the body, in front of the magnetic stirrer, allowing a filter or the end of an optical fibre to be attached inside, while outside it allows a rubber element (17) to be attached for extracting the sample or measuring some physical-chemical parameters.
