PURPOSE: A vehicle part inspection method using a vision system is provided to enable quick and accurate inspection of nut insertion and welding on vehicle parts. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle part inspection method using a vision system is as follows. A part model name, an operator ID, and an operation sequence are inputted(S100). A nut is supplied to a vehicle part placed on a work table and inserted to a welding position of the vehicle part(S110). The nut insertion portion of the vehicle part is irradiated with light and photographed(S120). A histogram is created by calculating the number of pixels for each pixel level(S140). The histogram is stretched to have an expanded grayscale distribution(S150). Fault insertion of the nut is determined.
