FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus realises a method comprising steps for: creating at least one route which satisfies route search conditions received from an information processing terminal; calculating volume of emissions emitted when following the scheduled route separately for each route; calculating the cost of buying emission quotas required for compensating for the calculated volume of emissions; sending to the information processing terminal the route search result which includes a route, volume of emissions and cost of buying emission quotas; compensating for the volume of emissions by subtracting the volume of emissions equivalent to the cost of buying emission quotas indicated in the emission quota order received from the information terminal from the value of emission quotas stored in a storage unit; sending the compensation result for displaying to an information processing terminal, said result including at least the volume of emissions and the corresponding cost of buying emission quotas. ^ EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the device owing to calculation of volume of carbon dioxide emissions caused by following the found route. ^ 6 cl, 8 dwg
