PURPOSE: An extract which contains rotifer-derived protein hydrolysate and suppresses beta-secretase activation is provided to ensure economic production. CONSTITUTION: A composition with an effect of suppressing or preventing Alzheimer's disease contains peptides as an active ingredient, which is prepared by hydrolysis of a protein consisting of a body composition of rotifers. The rotifers are Brachionus rotundiformis, Brachionus plicatilis, Brachionus calyciflorus, or Brachionus rubens.
