FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to toughening formed glass sheets. Proposed method comprises feeding formed glass sheet heated to toughening temperature into toughening device between top and bottom toughening heads arranged to feed gas flows for glass toughening and through said heads for glass sheet toughening for 0.5-1.3 s at initial toughening pressures. Then, gas flow pressures are increases for 0.5-4 s to magnitude, at least 25% higher than initial pressure for additional toughening of glass sheet. Then, gas flows with decreased cooling capacity are fed onto glass sheet to produce toughened and formed glass sheet in cooling to ambient temperature. ^ EFFECT: decreased process time. ^ 22 cl, 5 dwg |
