SOLID OXIDE ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND FUEL CELL EMPLOYING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A solid oxide electrolyte membrane is provide to prevent short circuit by being connected to both electrodes by filling a pin hole which is on electrolyte layer even with thin electrolyte layer. CONSTITUTION: A solid oxide electrolyte membrane comprises an solid oxide electrolyte layer(30), and insulating layer(20) formed on one side or both sides of the electrolyte by a conformal layer. The insulating layer comprises nano-grains with the crystal grain size of 30nm or less. The solid oxide electrolyte layer comprises one or more kinds selected from oxygen ion conductive solid oxide, hydrogen ion conductive solid oxide, and oxygen ion mixed conductive solid oxide. A manufacturing method of the solid oxide electrolyte comprises a step of forming an insulating layer on the solid oxide electrolyte layer by a conformal layer.
