FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous metal casting, particularly, to regulation or control of temperature in casting secondary cooling zone. Pickups 4, 5 are used to determine casting temperature. Obtained data is loaded into regulation or control unit 3 for it to control means 6 of cooling to preset temperature in billet appropriate regions. Proceeding from obtained data or received signals, flexure and elongation of cast billet between secondary cooling separate rollers, billet viscosity and hardening length are defined. Proceeding from obtained data and depending upon casting temperature at crystalliser outlet, dynamic adjustment of preset temperature is performed. ^ EFFECT: simplified adjustment. ^ 10 cl, 6 dwg |
