FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: starter of an internal combustion engine (ICE) comprises the following: an electric motor (2), a traction relay (3), a freewheel clutch (4) of ratchet type and a power planetary reduction gear (5). An electromagnet coil (7) of a traction relay (3) is installed inside a cover (16) of a body (1). The core of the coil (7) is a tail (8) of a driving case (9) of the clutch (4). Between end surfaces of a carrier (11) and the driving case (9) there is a return spiral spring (12). A shaft of an anchor (20) in the electric motor is integral with a driving sun gear (22). A terminal device (6) of the electric motor (2) start-up is fixed on a body cover (16). A shaft of a carrier (10) in the planetary reduction gear (5) at one side is arranged in a movable thrust bushing (17) of a terminal device (6). At the other side the shaft of the carrier (10) is placed in an insert of the anchor (20) shaft. The insert (19) is arranged in a disc support (23) of the body (1). ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of starter operation during start-up, lower wear of working surfaces of a freewheel clutch. ^ 3 dwg
