PURPOSE: Oxidation resistance aluminum alloy and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the mechanical characteristic of aluminum alloy by dispersing calcium-based compound in an aluminum base. CONSTITUTION: Oxidation resistance aluminum alloy is obtained by adding magnesium base alloy into molten aluminum(S12). In the magnesium base alloy, calcium-based compound is dispersed in a magnesium base. The calcium-based compound is included in an aluminum base. The calcium-based compound includes one or more of Mg-Ca compound, Al-Ca compound, and Mg-Al-Ca compound. The Mg-Ca compound includes Mg_2Ca, and the Al-Ca compound includes one or more of Al_2Ca and Al_4Ca.
