FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemistry and specifically to asphalt binder, and can be used in making asphalt concrete for road construction works. The asphalt binder contains bitumen, low-oxidised atactic polypropylene and further contains esterified silica of formula where R - CH3 or C2H5 or i-C3H7.
