PURPOSE: An interview prediction method for 3D video encoding is provided to enhance the performance of interview prediction on a 3D image. CONSTITUTION: Image processing devices receive a reference image sequence and a supplementary image sequence(601S). The image processing devices determine a first reference image(602S). The image processing devices determines a second reference image(603S). The image processing devices predict a target encoding image by using a first reference image and a second reference image. The image processing devices extract a prediction image(604S).
