PURPOSE: A two ways remote controller control method and two ways remote controller thereof are provided to rapidly display an active window corresponding to a menu which is selected by transmitting a control command. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller receives a menu screen from a display apparatus(S410). The remote controller selects a menu displayed on a menu screen(S430). The remote controller transmits a control command for executing a function corresponding to the selected menu and a control command for displaying the selected menu of an active window to the display apparatus(S450).
