PURPOSE: An online product management method using a portable terminal and system thereof are provided to record a product icon related to a product in a storage box by determining the storage box. CONSTITUTION: When a user purchase a product from a first member store(110), the first member store provides a gift for the product. When the user requests for storing the product, a clerk of the first member store acquires a product code from the requested product by using a first member store terminal. The first member store terminal transmits the product code and identification information to an online product management system(100).
