摘要 A so-called self-sustaining emagnetodynamic machine includes a stator with a circular array of equally spaced and magnetically isolated permanent magnets 18, 19, 20 with poles of like polarity directed to the centre of the circle, and a rotor with a composite magnet having a leading pole and a trailing pole, the leading pole leading the trailing pole during rotation of the rotor, the composite magnet being attached to a central journalled shaft 11,so that the composite magnet rotates closely past the inner stator poles and rotates the shaft as it does so. The stator includes a release electromagnet 22 to magnetically cooperate with the composite magnet of the rotor, by developing a magnetic polarity similar to the array of permanent magnet poles of the stator and timed to switch off at the point that the trailing magnetic pole of the composite magnet is to be released. Apparently the composite magnet provides a rotational force on the rotor when the composite magnet becomes proximate each to the permanent magnets in the stator array, the direction of the rotational force being that produced when the polarity of the composite pole is similar to that of the stator poles. An energy feedback loop transfers energy from the rotor to the release electromagnet. The feedback loop includes a current generator coupled to the rotor and a current pulse generator and a booster which supplies power from the current pulse generator to operate the release electromagnet.
