PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing catalyst for selective oxidative desulfurization using chelated transition metal is provided to expand the life of the catalyst and to improve the activity of the catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing catalyst for selective oxidative desulfurization using chelated transition metal includes the following: a transition metal precursor and a chelate formulation are introduced into an organic solvent to be reacted in a first process. A support is introduced into an aqueous solution to be mixed in a second process. Resultant from the first and the second processes are mixed and stirred in a third process. The product from the third process is dried and plasticized in a forth process.
