The module (M) has a light source (5) e.g. LED, arranged in a traffic cone (C) for lighting the cone from interior and exterior. An upper face (Fs) is arranged at the level of an opening (C2), and a lower face (Fi) is extended in the cone. The light source is located at the level of the lower face. The upper face is provided with an upper positive electric supply terminal and an upper negative electric supply terminal. A rechargeable battery (6) ensures electric supply of the light source. An independent claim is also included for a traffic cone comprising a lighting module.
