<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stroke quantity which is sufficient for making a brake pedal leave by obtaining a small lever ratio by improving the degree of freedom of setting of the lever ratio under constraint on layout in the case of making an operation pedal leave a bracket according to the rotation of a rotation lever when a front collision occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A support structure 1 of an operation pedal includes: a bracket 3 mounted on a dash panel P by which an operation pedal 2 is supported so as to freely oscillate in the backward and forward direction of a vehicle; a vehicle body side member 4 installed in the rear part of the vehicle of the dash panel P; a first rotation lever 6 supported so as to freely rotate via a first spindle 5 extended to the direction of vehicle width in the bracket 3, and configured to rotate around the first spindle 5 after being brought into contact with the vehicle body side member 4 when a front collision occurs; and a second rotation lever 8 supported so as to freely rotate via a second spindle 7 extended to the direction of the vehicle width in the bracket 3, and configured to rotate around the second spindle 7 after being brought into contact with the first rotation lever 6 which rotates around the first spindle 5, and to push the operation pedal 2 to a direction where it is made to leave the bracket 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
