PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for a electrostatic latent image development, the carrier allowing use of a conventional developing device without greatly changing a carrier resistance or magnetization of the core material, preventing deposition of the carrier and to be used for a two-component developer having high picture quality and high durability, and to provide an electrostatic latent image developer, an image forming method and an image forming apparatus using the carrier.

SOLUTION: The carrier for electrostatic latent image developer comprises a magnetic core particle and a resin layer coating the surface of the particle. The core particle has a shape factor SF2 of 130 or more and 160 or less; and the resin layer contains conductive fine particles and a resin prepared by heating a copolymer of a (meth)acrylate monomer having a trisiloxyl silyl group and a (meth)acrylate monomer having a monoalkyl dialkoxy silyl group.
