<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perceptual stimulus information generating system, a perceptual stimulus information generating method and a perceptual stimulus information generating program which can intelligibly transmit two-dimensional information to a user by utilizing perception other than visual perception such as tactile perception. <P>SOLUTION: A perceptual stimulus information generating system 1 comprises type determination means 3A, information conversion means 3B and control means 3C. The type determination means 3A acquires two-dimensional information and determines a type of the two-dimensional information. The information conversion means 3B generates feature information indicating features of a unit area corresponding to a position specified by the two-dimensional information by executing a process corresponding to the type of the two-dimensional information on the two-dimensional information.
