<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely read a direct reading type water meter without replacement of the water meter by additionally mounting a pulse transmission unit on the water meter. <P>SOLUTION: In a water meter 1 which includes a magnet 19 for pulse transmission rotating integrally with a number wheel 13, and an adapter 9 for mounting a pulse transmission unit 100 outputting a pulse in accordance with the approach of the magnet 19 for pulse transmission, on the surface of a glass plate 6 covering a display section 7, the pulse transmission unit 100 can be additionally mounted on the adapter 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
