<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-based hot-dipped steel sheet with excellent blackening resistance and weldability, which never blackens and can prevent deterioration of strength even after reheating, and to provide an explosion-preventing band using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The aluminum-based hot-dipped steel sheet is an aluminum-based plated steel sheet obtained by subjecting a steel sheet to aluminum-based plating mainly composed of Al, wherein the steel sheet has a chemical composition such that C: 0.2 mass% or less, N: 0.007 mass% or less, Si: 0.1 mass% or more and 0.5 mass% or less, P: 0.1 mass% or less, S: 0.02 mass% or less, Mn: 1.05 mass% or more and 2.0 mass% or less, Nb: 0.01 mass% or more and 0.08 mass% or less, sol Al: 1.0 mass% or less, and the balance: Fe and inevitable impurities.
