<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device in which a large temperature gradient does not occur in a front substrate even if the plasma display device includes a large screen and high luminance plasma display panel. <P>SOLUTION: A plasma display device includes a panel in which a front substrate 21 having a plurality of scanning electrodes and a plurality of sustain electrodes formed thereon, and a back substrate having a plurality of data electrodes formed thereon are arranged while facing each other; and a plurality of circuit boards 75 to 79 for supplying driving voltage waveforms to be supplied to the sustain electrode. In the panel, a short circuit line for electrically short-circuiting the plurality of sustain electrodes, and a plurality of electrode terminals electrically connected to the short circuit line and grouped into a plurality of electrode terminal groups are further formed on the front substrate 21.
