<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder capable of conveying a metal strip without rapid acceleration and rapid deceleration. <P>SOLUTION: The feeder includes: a reciprocating block 100 reciprocally movable by a driving means of a press apparatus when conveying the metal strip 10 in which through-holes 11 with collars are formed in a predetermined direction; a moving block 102 disposed above the reciprocating block 100 and connected to a connecting member 60 that is disposed movable in the direction of movement of the reciprocating block 100; a pin block 56 that moves with the moving block and is provided with conveying pins 68 inserted inside the through-holes 11 of the metal strip 10 whose tip ends are placed on a reference plate 64; and an upper-lower cam portion 80 that raises and lowers the pin block. The moving block 102 is formed so that it is not pulled by the reciprocating block 100 during reciprocation.
