<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for continuously casting, which suppresses the degradation of casting surface property in an inner periphery of a billet and also prevents a breakout from occurring in the inner periphery of the billet. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for continuously casting, includes: a cooling water jetting mechanism 60 having a cooling water feeding passage 60a for feeding a cooling water C2 to a billet inside 12c and jetting the cooling water C2 fed from the cooling water feeding passage 60a, toward a casting mold 20 and a billet inner periphery 12a pulled out from a core 40; and a suction discharge mechanism 70 having a suction discharge passage 70a for communicating the billet inside 12c with the outside of the billet and configured to suction water vapor V that is caused such that the cooling water C2 comes into contact with the billet inner periphery 12a and is evaporated and that remains in the billet inside 12c, from the suction discharge passage 70a and to discharge the vapor outside the billet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
