摘要 <p>The method involves irradiating UV-measurement radiation (M) of two wavelengths into urine (U), and measuring absorption of the radiation at the two wavelengths. Intensity of UV-fluorescence radiation (F) excited by the measurement radiation of one of the wavelengths is measured at a third wavelength. Entire contents of uric acid and creatinine are determined from the absorption factor at one of the wavelengths. Content of albumin or its ratio to the creatinine is determined from the intensity at the third wavelength, where the ratio represents or provides a kidney function parameter. An independent claim is also included for a detection device comprising a UV-light source i.e. UV-LED.</p>
