The device has an inner container (10), and a chamber (30) lying between an outer wall (20) and the inner container. The chamber is partially filled by foam filling, and a vacuum insulation panel (40) is arranged in the chamber between the outer wall and the inner container. Foam lies between the vacuum insulation panel and the inner container, and another foam lies between the vacuum insulation panel and the outer wall. The former foam is different from the latter foam in characteristics of the foams. The foams are formed as polyurethane foams. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a cooling-and/or freezing device.
