<p>The method involves programming an additional tolerance up to 0.8 mm in simulated chewing movement paths (2-6) in lateral directions of all movement combinations. The tolerance is modified to a chewing surface design by scanning based on functional wax registrates in mouth so that the tolerance movements are incorporated in a dental prosthesis and its chewing surface design in CAD- and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) processes.</p>
