<p>A cooling structure for the base of an air-cooled engine body, comprising an air intake (1), heat-dissipation fins (2), a base (3), an air outlet (4) and a support post (5). The heat-dissipation fins (2) are arranged on the base (3). The air intake (1) and the air outlet (4) are openings arranged on the forward face and the rear face respectively of the base (3). The support post (5) is arranged beside the base (3). The support post (5) is hollow and the face of the support post facing the inward flow of air is structured as an opening. A surface slanted at a certain angle is arranged on the base (3). The present cooling structure for the base of an air-cooled engine body enables cool air forced forward by the fan to reach the base, which heretofore has not been cooled, directing cool air over every heat-dissipation fin, thus increasing cooling of lubricant, reducing lubricant temperatures and extending lubricant service life.</p> |
