<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having a ceramic-made substrate that is hard to warp by heat. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 10 comprises an insulating substrate 11, front-surface metallic members 12, semiconductor light-emitting elements 13, and a rear-surface metallic member 14. The insulating substrate is made of ceramic. The front-surface metallic members 12 are disposed so as to be separated from each other on a front surface (mounting surface 11A) of the insulating substrate 11. The semiconductor light-emitting elements 13 are mounted on the front-surface metallic members 12. The rear-surface metallic member 14 is provided on a rear surface 11B of the insulating substrate 11, is thinner than the front-surface metallic members 12, and has a volume ratio of 50% or more with respect to the front-surface metallic members 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
