METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION OF ROLLED MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for displaying identification information capable of easily identifying identification information provided to a rolled material and easily performing work for changing the steel type and size.

SOLUTION: An identification character is printed and inscribed on a screw reinforcement S1 between a pair of identification information displaying rollers 4. The screw reinforcement is rolled by a finish rolling roll R1. Printing portions P1 of the identification information displaying rollers 4 disposed at the exit side of the finish rolling roll are pressed on a free surface S1a that is not reduced by the finish rolling roll, and the identification character which is the identification information indicating the steel type and size is printed and inscribed on the free surface S1a.
