<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel (PDP) which suppresses its cost while improving electromagnetic wave shielding performance. <P>SOLUTION: In a plasma display panel, a front plate 20 having a display electrode 24 and a back plate having a data electrode 32 face each other so that the display electrode 24 and the data electrode 32 are crossed in a lattice shape, and a barrier plate 34 having a vertical barrier rib 34a along the data electrode 32 is provided so as to divide a space between the front plate 20 and the back plate 30. The front plate 20 has an electromagnetic wave shielding layer 40 formed by a first metal pattern line 40a and a second metal pattern line 40b in which the first metal pattern line 40a is arranged along a projection position of the display electrode 24 on the outer side surface not facing the back plate 30 while the second metal pattern line 40b is arranged in a projection position of the barrier plate 34 on the outer side surface not facing the back plate 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
