According to one example of the present invention, there is provided apparatus for evaluating an object. The object is evaluated from a stream of video images taken in proximity to the object. The apparatus comprises an identity analyzer module for analyzing video images from the stream and for identifying individuals therein. An emotion analyzer is also provided for analyzing a video image from which an individual was identified and for determining an emotion and emotion intensity expressed by the identified individual. An object evaluation module is further provided for determining an evaluation level for the object based on the determined emotions and emotion intensity levels.
