SWING LINK FOR SCROLL TYPE COMPRESSOR AND METHOD FOR FINISHING THE SURFACE OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A swing link for a scroll compressor and a method of treating the surface of the same are provided to enhance surface hardness since a carbon nitride compound layer is uniformly formed on the surface of a swing link through low-temperature tufftriding treatment. CONSTITUTION: A method of treating the surface of a swing link for a scroll compressor comprises next steps. The swing link is cooled after being maintained at a temperature of 480~660°C for 120±10 minutes(S1). The swing link is air-quenched after being maintained at a temperature of 820~930°C for 180±10 minutes(S2). The swing link is cooled in a nitriding furnace after being maintained at a temperature of 580±10°C for 300±30 minutes in a tufftriding furnace(S3). Residuals are removed from the surface of the wing link through washing.
