IMAGE RECORDING/REPRODUCING DEVICE, IMAGE RECORDING/REPRODUCING METHOD, AND METHOD FOR EDITING IMAGE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly image data management method for electronic video cameras utilizing merits of both random accessibility of digital images and continuous image appreciation performed by a video tape method.

SOLUTION: An electronic camera that records moving images in not a sequential media such as a tape but in a random-accessible media such as a hard disk for generating a unit image file for every cut imaging, is used. A large quantity of image files of several seconds to several tens of seconds unit that are generated in imaging are automatically grouped according to specific conditions such as imaging time ranges and sites, and the image file in the group is continuously reproduced in group unit without making a user aware of the presence of each image file.
