<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device of a motor which reduces the amount of oil for cooling the motor and improves cooling performance of a coil end part of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling device of a motor 1 includes a rotor 3 integrally provided with an output shaft 2, a stator 5 disposed at the outer peripheral side of the rotor 3 and fixed to a case 4, and a coil 6 generating electromagnetic force by applying electric current to a conducting wire wound around the stator 5. The cooling device includes a neutral point 7 where a wire connection formed by bundling the conducting wires connects to a part of the coil 6 which is positioned between the stator 5 and the case 4, a mold 8 covering the part of the coil 6 which is positioned between the stator 5 and the case 4 and the neutral point 7 integrally, and a coolant passage 9 formed between the case 4 and the mold 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
