<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device or the like capable of suppressing distortion or the like of a fixing member that can be generated when a member is provided to transmit rotary driving force from a contact member in a separated state from the fixing member to the fixing member. <P>SOLUTION: When a sheet P is pulled toward an upstream side in a conveying direction of the sheet P, external force is applied to a fixing belt 61 and the fixing belt 61 moves in the direction opposite to a moving direction during fixing (an arrow 13A). In accordance with the moving of the fixing belt 61, power transmission members 62B and 62C also rotate in the directions opposite to rotating directions during fixing (an arrow 13B). In this case, one-way clutches CL are provided between the power transmission members 62B and 62C and a pressure roll 62.
