<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate device capable of making determination, fully taking measures against noise, disturbance and malicious movement. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic ticket gate device includes first discrimination means for discriminating whether a ticket input from an input slot is a ticket for a child or not, a counter for adding one based on the first discrimination mean's discrimination that it is a ticket for a child, a height detection sensor for detecting a height of a user that is provided at a place higher than positions of optical sensors, and second discrimination means for discriminating whether the user is a child or not based on the detection result of the height detection sensor. Based on the conditions that the ticket input from the input slot is a ticket for a child, that it is discriminated that the user is a child, and the discriminated child passes through a passage, one is subtracted from the counter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
