PURPOSE: A method for qualifying a protein-ligand complex formation is provided to confirm protein-ligand interaction and ensure accuracy and sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A method for confirming and qualifying protein-ligand interaction comprises: a step of introducing radioactive labeled ligand molecules to in vitro, ex vivo, or in vivo system; a step of cross-linking the ligand molecule to the target protein; a step of isolating protein-ligand complex; a step of measuring the protein-ligand complex by accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS); and a step of comparing signal from AMS with the signal by conventional detection method.
