<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station operating the proper number baseband signal processing units adapting to change of a traffic in the future. <P>SOLUTION: A radio base station 22 comprises a plurality of BB (baseband) signal processing cards 28 for processing transmission and reception signals to and from a plurality of mobile terminals 50, a traffic estimation part 32 for estimating a prediction traffic in the future based on an actual traffic, and a performance control part 36 for operating completely the required number of the BB signal processing cards 28 for processing the prediction traffic and dropping operation performance of other BB signal processing cards 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
