<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from entering an inner core wire part from the mutual jointing surfaces of a pair of core wire crimped pieces. <P>SOLUTION: A waterproof crimp-style terminal 1 is employed, in which a pair of core wire crimp pieces 2 and 3 are formed on both sides of a substrate part 4 to constitute an annular core wire crimp part 5 at the time of crimping of an electric wire. The tip side of one core wire crimp piece 2 is folded back outward, to form a folding part 16 that has an outward repulsion. A cover part 17 on the tip side of the other core wire crimp piece 3 is arranged outside the folding part, so that the outside surface of the folding part tightly fits to the inside surface of the cover part using repulsion. A pair of bent surfaces 24 and 25 for pressurizing a crimper 22 that faces an anvil 21 are formed in succession through a step surface 26. The other bent surface 25 is arranged outside a virtual extension surface of one bent surface 24. One core wire crimp piece 2 is arranged along one bent surface, while the other core wire crimp piece 3 is arranged along the other bent surface.
