<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device for a railway vehicle which does not generate stick slip caused by a fretting phenomenon and to provide a method for manufacturing a spherical bearing used for the connecting device. <P>SOLUTION: The connecting device 10 for a railway vehicle includes a supporting member 11 attached to a lower surface of a vehicle body floor F and provided with a ball head 11a, a tail rod 12 having a half-recessed spherical surface part 12a in the inner surface thereof and having a half-spherical belt-like recessed surface part 12b in the half-recessed spherical surface part 12a, a tail rod cover 13 having a half-recessed spherical surface part 13a continued to the half-recessed spherical surface part 12a of the tail rod 12 in the inner surface thereof and a half-spherical belt-like recessed surface part 13b continued to the half-spherical belt-like recessed surface part 12b of the tail rod 12 and integrally joined to the tail rod 12 and divided two hemispherical sliding bearings 14 and 14 supporting the ball head 11a and fitted and fixed to the half-spherical belt-like recessed surface parts 12b and 13b of the tail rod 12 and the tail rod cover 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
